Milena Ansari

Milena Ansari is the Israel and Palestine Assistant Researcher, monitoring and reporting on human rights conditions and abuses in Israel and Palestine. Over the years, Milena has gained valuable experiences working to defend human rights with leading Palestinian human rights organizations, analyzing systematic violations of prisoners’ rights and children’s rights under international law. In 2022, she also worked part time as an International Law Lecturer at Birzeit University in Palestine.

Milena is a trained Palestinian lawyer. She has a BA in Law from Birzeit University and an LLM in International Law and Human Rights from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is fluent in English and Arabic, and conversant in Hebrew and French.
