Abir Ghattas

Abir is the acting CIO for Human Rights Watch, she leads the organization's technology team and oversees IT's strategy and infrastructure. As the organization's information security director, she provides strategic and operational oversight for managing information security risks that HRW staff face in their work. She holds a BS in computer sciences and Mathematics and an MA in communication and digital strategies.
