Emina Ćerimović works on issues related to disability rights, discrimination, and migration, focusing on the Western Balkans, as well as on advocacy initiatives with the UN. Ćerimović has investigated police abuse of migrants and asylum seekers in Serbia and Macedonia and has researched institutionalization of children and adults with disabilities in Croatia and Serbia. Ćerimović holds a law degree from the University of Sarajevo and a LLM degree in Human Rights with a Specialization in EU Law from the Central European University in Budapest. She speaks Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and Swedish.
