Tina Candrian

Tina joined Human Rights Watch as Director in Zurich in June 2024. She is a certified hotelier, whose professional life has taken her from Switzerland to Paris, Hong Kong, and Nepal. In 2011, Tina founded her consultancy, working mainly on conceptual and creative projects in the Swiss hospitality industry. Since 2022, she has been chairing the “Ladies’Lunch”, a fundraising initiative supporting projects for and by women, youth, and children in Zurich. Tina was born and raised in Zurich, graduated from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, and is fluent in German, English, and French. She is a mother of three adult children, and in her spare time, enjoys spending time with them, taking long walks with their family dog, cooking for friends, and practising yoga.
