Dan Baum
Senior Researcher/Editor, Americas Division
Dan Baum comes to human-rights work from journalism — as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, the Asian Wall Street Journal, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, among others, and after thirty years as a freelancer during which he and his wife/writing partner, Margaret Knox, produced four non-fiction books and myriad magazine articles, including a four-year stint on staff at The New Yorker covering the U.S. military during the Iraq War and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
