Matt Kilbourne is the Influencer and Celebrity Relations Specialist at Human Rights Watch where he oversees the integration of celebrity and influencer support into HRW’s advocacy, communications and programs. Before joining Human Rights Watch, Matt spent seven years at PETA, an animal rights organization, where he oversaw celebrity relations and produced celebrity content for advertising, press, and social media campaigns. Matt’s work has been featured in Billboard, Complex, ESPN, Pitchfork, TMZ, and The Washington Post. Prior to his time at PETA, Matt worked in the music industry where he managed up and coming talent. He has a BA in history, from California State University Sacramento.
