Prosecutors in China have indicted prominent human rights lawyer Pu Zhiqiang on charges of "inciting ethnic hatred", “picking quarrels" and "provoking troubles”, primarily on the basis of online comments he made. If convicted he faces a maximum of 10 years in prison.
