Human Rights Watch mourns the passing of the Children’s Rights Division’s longtime advisory committee chair Robert Schwartz, co-founder and former executive director of the Juvenile Law Center in Pennsylvania.
Bob chaired our committee with humor, self-effacing kindness, and gentle incisiveness. His leadership demonstrated his deep commitment to children and his capacious intelligence. We are grateful to Bob for his service, for his advice, and for his friendship. He will be deeply missed.
