Human Rights Watch is deeply saddened by the passing of a dear colleague, Ukrainian human rights defender Dmytro Groisman, who died on August 6 at age 42. Dmytro was coordinator of the Vinnytsya Human Rights Group and a determined defender of the rights of refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers. We extend our deepest condolences to Dmytro’s family.
