Human Rights Watch’s Submission to the Committee Against Torture in Response to United States Positions Expressed During the Committee’s Consideration of the Second Periodic Report of the United States on May 5 and May 8, 2006. HRW was concerned, however, about the substance of a number of the United States’ responses. The following document highlights areas of central concern that we hope the Committee will address in its final Conclusions and Recommendations.
