To His Excellence, the President of the United States of America, Mr Barack Obama

...On behalf of the devastated population of the Ngilima administrative center, following multiple threats and violent acts of all kinds by the Ugandan LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) rebels, which began on September 17, 2008 and still continue, the entire population of Ngilima calls on the president of the United States of America, his Excellency Mr. Barack Obama, to come to our aid to help us put an end to this foreign rebellion that continues to shed the blood of thousands of innocent Congolese and which is wiping out the Zande people in a war that is not even their own, and this despite the efforts of the Congolese government in the security sector of our FARDC soldiers.

In the hope that the American government will not fail to take into consideration our cries of distress and our ‘SOS' for the end of these hostilities in the near future.

Wishing a long life to the president,

The CPEA
Emmanuel
