Bush Administration's Memos on Torture Denounced

Joint Statement By U.S. Lawyers Demands Full Inquiry

Human Rights Watch's Kenneth Roth joined other respected members of the U.S. legal community to sign a statement addressing the Bush Administration’s preparation of legal memos related to torture. Over 120 signatories demand full disclosure of all memoranda relating to treatment of prisoners and an appropriate inquiry into how and why such memos were prepared and approved.
