Africa on its Own: Regional Intervention and Human Rights

Despite the continued gloomy reality of much reporting from Africa, the current moment is in fact one of hope for the continent. Though a quarter of Africa’s countries were affected by conflict in 2003, several long-running wars have recently ended, including the twenty-five year war in Angola.
