Madam Chair and members of the Committee: It’s a privilege to speak on behalf of United States ratification of the Optional Protocols on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography and on the involvement of children in armed conflict. I’d like to speak briefly to the sexual exploitation and sale of children, and then devote the bulk of my remarks to the issue of child soldiers
