Open Letter to the Security Council

We welcome the Council's mandate to the Secretariat to undertake a comprehensive assessment of
the humanitarian situation in Resolution 1302. We are hopeful that the Secretariat will, in fact, be able
to complete this assessment by November 26 of this year.
