Renata Escudero
Brazil program officer
Renata Escudero is a lawyer, master in human rights and humanitarian law, graduated from American University Washington College of Law and Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. She acts as coordinator of the Human Rights Watch office in Brazil.
Before joining the Human Rights Watch team, Renata worked as a lawyer for civil society organizations and in community legal empowerment projects. For 4 years she was the international legal director of the organization TECHO, responsible for the legal projects of the organization throughout Latin America.
