This table includes attacks documented by Human Rights Watch during interviews with hundreds of victims and witnesses to attacks, children and adults who were abducted by the LRA and later escaped, and civil society representatives and local leaders. Research was conducted during five missions to northern Congo, including many of the villages that were attacked, between January 2009 and September 2010. Additional killings and abductions documented by the United Nations, which do not replicate the other attacks in the chart, are also included, and are clearly marked as attacks documented by the UN.
