Vladislav Lobanov is the Natalia Estemirova fellow at the Russia Office of Human Rights Watch. Prior to joining HRW in May 2017, Vladislav worked both in the humanitarian and development sector for such international actors as the United Nations World Food Programme, Y7/Y8 & Y20 Summits, Euroregion Baltic, in Cambodia, the US, and Russia.
He holds a Master’s Degree in International Development and Management from Lund University (Sweden), and a Specialist’s Degree (cum laude) in Applied Information Science (in Economics) from Kaliningrad State Technical University (Russia).
Vladislav is fluent in Russian and English. He also has a basic knowledge of German, Swedish, and French.
