Vladislav Lobanov, Assistant Researcher for Human Rights Watch, works on Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. He is based in Berlin. Vladislav previously focused on Russia and was based in Moscow. Prior to joining HRW in May 2017 as the Natalia Estemirova fellow, Vladislav worked both in the humanitarian and development sector for such international actors as the United Nations World Food Programme, Y7/Y8 & Y20 Summits, Euroregion Baltic, in Cambodia, the US, and Russia. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Development and Management from Lund University.
