Sofia Pasquini

Sofia Pasquini is the South America research assistant. Before joining Human Rights Watch in 2025, Sofía conducted legal and policy research for the Argentine human rights organization Asociación Civil por la Igualdad y la Justicia (ACIJ). She previously headed the pro bono department at the law firm Allende & Brea. She studied law at Torcuato Di Tella University in Buenos Aires, where she is a master's candidate in public policy. She also teaches in the human rights clinic at the Catholic University of Argentina.
