Morten Hummelmose
Morten is the founder and CEO of Frececo, a family office focused on a combination of philanthropic and investment activities. Morten has extensive international experience in the fields of private equity, investment, and fundraising from a career spanning more than 16 years with EQT Partners. At EQT Partners, Morten served as a Senior Partner and investment committee member, head of fundraising, and a member of the executive committee. Additionally, he is a founding member of the EQT Foundation, which was founded in 2019 by a core group of EQT Partners with the purpose of driving and hosting global philanthropic activities. Morten is a member of the EQT Foundation’s investment committee.
In 2016, Morten was involved in establishing the Human Rights Watch Copenhagen Circle of Friends and later he became Chair of the committee. In this position, he has contributed significantly to helping cultivate a strong network of dedicated donors and supporters of Human Rights Watch.
Morten’s academic background includes an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and an M.Sc. in Finance from the University of London. Prior to his tenure at EQT Partners, Morten held positions in corporate finance at Enskilda Securities, Goldman Sachs International, and Nordea.
Morten lives in Copenhagen, Denmark, is married, and has three children.
