Michael E. Gellert (In Memoriam 1931-2021)

Michael E. Gellert is a General Partner of Windcrest Partners, an investment firm.  Mr. Gellert is a Trustee of Human Rights Watch; Trustee of the Carnegie Institution for Science (Chairman 2003 to 2013); Trustee and former Vice Chairman of New School University; Fellow of American Academy of Arts & Sciences; Trustee of Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts (Chairman 1996 to 2003); Trustee of New York City Opera; Chairman of Advisory Board of Roosevelt House at Hunter College; member of Council on Foreign Relations; member of various committees at Harvard University. Mr. Gellert is a Director Emeritus of Seacor Holdings, Director of Dalet Technologies, several investment funds and numerous private companies.  He holds an AB degree (Government) from Harvard University and a MBA (Finance) from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce.
