Marie Warburg

Director, US and German Friends of the Jewish Museum; Roland Berger Foundation; and ACLIRES Holding Ltd.

Marie M. Warburg, M.D. received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed her post-doctoral training in internal medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston where she also completed a fellowship in General Internal Medicine. She served as staff physician and Chief of Ambulatory Care at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, Massachusetts and as Senior Medical Director for PAREXEL International, a major global contract research organization before joining Bellevue Asset Management, where she was a portfolio manager for BB Biotech. Since then she has served as a fund manager, consultant and Board member for several companies and funds specializing in the biomedical industry, including MPM Capital and Private Life Biomed AG.

She is an International Board member of Human Rights Watch, and serves on the Board of the German and American Friends of the Jewish Museum Berlin as well as on the Board of the Friends of the House of the Cultures of the World in Berlin and on the Advisory Council of the Warburg Institute in London.
