Lindsay Saligman
Lindsay Saligman is a UK Advocacy Fellow at Human Rights Watch.
Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, she interned for the Special Rapporteur on the Independence of Judges and Lawyers, and worked on documentation and legal analysis of atrocity crimes with the Global Human Rights Clinic at the University of Chicago. In law school, Lindsay served on the Executive Board of the Chicago Journal of International Law, which has published her written work. Before pursuing her J.D., Lindsay spent several years in India, Ecuador, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia, implementing projects connected to education and crisis response. She holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in Linguistics from Columbia University. She is fluent in Russian and Spanish; proficient in Persian, French, and Hindi; and conversational in Mandarin and Arabic.
