Christina Abdulahad

Christina has a BS degree in Strategic Communication from Lund University. She has also studied International Relations during a semester at the University of Canterbury. Christina has held several leadership positions in young civil society and is admitted to King Carl CV Gustaf’s Foundation for Young Leadership in Sweden. As a student, she led the work of the student unions and represented 45 000 students as the president of Lund University Student Union Association.  She has also been involved in WEF’s Global Shapers Community and the European Youth Parliament. Before she joined HRW she interned at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Her father used to be stateless and was a refugee twice, which sparked her interest in human rights. She speaks fluent Arabic, English, and Swedish.
