Florida’s state government is passing restrictive laws targeting women and LGBT people.
We spoke to activists on the front lines in Florida to get their perspective and learn how they’re resisting.

When I got to the USA I thought my social fight was over. And I realized all the social injustices, injustices against women and everything that was happening. It took me back to my beginnings.
I chose to live in the state of Florida that is one of the worst ones right now. But we are in a constant fight for our rights.
Reproductive justice includes a human well-being for everyone. A safe place to live, decent salaries to earn, and a safe space to grow.

I absolutely have concerns about access.
When we're talking about Latine people we're talking about people of all documentation statuses, of all genders, of all races, of all cultures.
How is the most recent anti-immigrant bill that has hospitals who are funded by Medicaid, it forces them to ask people their documentation status, how does that scare a person who wants to get either preventative or lifesaving care?
Now is the time to continue to fight, now is not the time to leave. Now's the time to continue to invest in Florida.
