Nicholas Vanarthos
Intern, Economic Justice and Rights Division
Nicholas Vanarthos is a law fellow with the Economic Justice and Rights Division.
He earned his bachelor's degree in philosophy at Rutgers University. After graduating from Rutgers, he taught English in Brazil for a year on a Fulbright scholarship, as well as in Chengdu, China. He is currently a law student at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and will graduate with a concentration in international law, with a focus on national security law. He is also an Associate Editor for the school's War Crimes Prosecution Watch Newsletter.
He speaks Portuguese and Spanish and is an avid student of Mandarin. He also volunteers as a member of Tzu Chi, a Taiwanese humanitarian NGO.
