Madeline de Figueiredo is the Crisis and Conflict Coordinator. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, she worked at the Center for Legal Aid — Voice in Bulgaria in Sofia, Bulgaria. She holds a B.A. in history from the University of Chicago.
