Laura Messinger

Laura has spent over a decade with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), working in a variety of challenging contexts across Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific. Her expertise spans program management, fundraising strategy, and field operations—including leading missing persons initiatives in Iraq and Ukraine, supporting separated families and migration-focused programs in South America.

She holds advanced degrees from the Graduate Institute in Geneva and the University of Zurich, along with specialized training in Innovative Finance (IMD Lausanne) and Public Management (ETH Zurich). Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and German, and basic knowledge of French and Italian, Laura brings a truly global perspective and a deep commitment to humanitarian impact.
