Kate Weine is the senior coordinator on the Washington Advocacy team at Human Rights Watch. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, Kate spent three years on the Global Technology Team at Internews, where she worked closely with civil society and human rights defenders through global and country-level programs focused on freedom of expression and digital rights. Kate holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Tufts University and recently received her M.A. from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, where she focused on human security, governance, and US foreign policy.
