Gloria Principe

Human Rights Supporter, Non-Profit Board Member

Gloria Principe chairs the Silicon Valley Committee of Human Rights Watch. She co-hosted the Silicon Valley Voices for Justice dinner in 2019 and 2021. She was appointed to the Human Rights Watch Board of Directors in June 2022.

In addition to Human Rights Watch, Gloria serves on the board of The Riekes Center, a unique Menlo Park California organization dedicated to character building and self-development through creative arts, athletic fitness, nature awareness and community service, and on the Advisory Board for Stanford University’s Institute for Research in the Social Sciences. Gloria has also held leadership positions in several local community organizations including public school foundations and private school boards. She has been a management consultant for Booz Allen and a marketing executive in multinational companies in Brazil, Ireland and the US.

Gloria grew up in Brazil. She is a graduate of Syracuse University and has an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business. She speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Gloria is the mother of adult triplets, and along with her husband, actively supports a wide range of humanitarian organizations, both in the US and internationally. She is an avid fan of soccer.
