Born in Sweden, with an international background growing up and studying in the USA, Tunisia, Italy and France, Cecilia is a keen believer in the importance of human rights. After getting a business degree at Stockholm University she spent many years in London. Cecilia is based in Stockholm since 2001. After 10 years in the travel industry she changed direction in 2015. Following a course in International Relations at Stockholm University and working at a law firm specializing in criminal and immigration law, she now works for a communications firm in Stockholm. Cecilia is married to Adam Lewis and has 2 sons. She’s been involved with HRW since 2015.
