Catherine Pilishvili

Senior Associate, Europe and Central Asia Division

Catherine Pilishvili is the Senior Associate for the Europe and Central Asia Division at the New York Office of Human Rights Watch. Prior to joining HRW in August 2017, Catherine worked at the International Civil Society Action Network in Washington, DC and The Carter Center’s Global Access to Information Initiative in Atlanta, Georgia.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies and Journalism from Emory University (Atlanta), and her Master’s Degree from Georgetown University (DC). Catherine is proficient in Georgian, Russian, Spanish, English, and French.
