Anna Bruckner is a coordinator within the Africa division at Human Rights Watch, supporting the West and Central Africa teams.
Before joining Human Rights Watch, Anna worked as a paralegal at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in the Major Economic Crimes Bureau, and as a Program Assistant for Africa within the Conflict Prevention and Peace Forum (CPPF) at the Social Science Research Council (SSRC). She graduated from Wesleyan University in 2020, where she wrote her senior thesis on the responsibilities of France and the US in the Rwandan genocide.
