Alexandra Schmitt is the former coordinator for the Washington Advocacy team at Human Rights Watch. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, she worked on the United Nations Foundation's malaria campaign and interned with the International Crisis Group. She holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Grinnell College in Iowa.
