Survivors of acid violence in Cambodia are unlawfully denied free medical care and face pressure to accept inadequate settlements. The Cambodian government should enforce its laws that require legal, social, and medical support to survivors of acid attacks.

    Brutal Detention of Novy Chas photographer Dmitry Dmitriyev

    On November 1, a Novy Chas photographer, Dmitry Dmitriyev, was reporting on a peaceful Sunday protest in Minsk when officers in civilian clothes, military vests, and helmets detained him using violence and pushing him to the ground. They took Dmitriyev to a police vehicle, where riot police officers beat and kicked him.
