Digital investigation on Drone Attack

During a four- day conflict between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan several laws of war were broken. In October and November 2022, Human Rights Watch researchers traveled to both sides of the border to document violations of international humanitarian law – the laws of war. Throughout the research for this report, members of Human Rights Watch’s Digital Investigations Lab worked together with our researchers on-site in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan – using a variety of digital research techniques to help document and expose the violations that occurred.
