Burundi: Killings, Abductions, Political Violence Plague Capital

The human rights situation in Burundi has deteriorated significantly since 2015, in particular in the capital, Bujumbura. In light of the alarming increase in extrajudicial killings, abductions and torture, Human Rights Watch is calling on the Burundian government and opposition leaders to take immediate action to end these abuses.
