Liz Evenson is associate director in the International Justice Program. Her research and advocacy centers on the International Criminal Court, monitoring the court’s institutional development and conducting advocacy toward court officials and its member countries. Previously, she was a Leonard H. Sandler fellow in the Africa division of Human Rights Watch, focused on Uganda. From June to August 2012, Liz served as a civil society program officer with No Peace Without Justice’s Libya Project. She was a visiting scholar from March to April 2014 at the Human Rights Center at the University of California Berkeley School of Law. She holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago, an M.Phil from the University of Nottingham, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
