Yasemin Smallens is Senior Coordinator in the LGBT Rights Program. Yasemin holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Vassar College. Previously she's worked on refugee policy and police surveillance technologies at the Brennan Center, municipal identification cards and voting reform at For the Many, and transgender rights and police reform at the New York Civil Liberties Union. She also worked on the film Pier Kids: The Life which documents the experiences of homeless transgender youth of color around New York City's piers.
