Kenza Ben Azouz
Finberg Fellow 2022, Middle East and North Africa Division
Kenza Ben Azouz is the 2022 Finberg Fellow at Human Rights Watch, researching domestic violence in Tunisia. Previously, she conducted research and worked on various development and humanitarian projects in Greece, Lebanon, Turkey, Tunisia, the United States, and West Africa.
Kenza obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from McGill University, and a graduate diploma in social anthropology of development at SOAS University of London as an Allan & Nesta Ferguson Scholar. She is interested in racism, feminism, and decolonization. She speaks Arabic, English, and French.
