Corrections to our publications
Human Rights Watch strives to maintain the highest level of accuracy in our reporting. This includes a commitment to correcting errors or clarifying facts that appear in our publications in a timely fashion. Corrections appear both on this dedicated webpage and at the bottom of the publication that contained the error.
We cannot reply individually to all corrections requests, but all such requests that specify the exact nature of the alleged inaccuracy and the publication (title, page number / web address and date) in which it appeared will be reviewed. If you believe you have found an inaccuracy in our materials, please contact us.
Errors contained in social media posts under Human Rights Watch and staff accounts will also be corrected in a prompt and transparent manner.

Recent Corrections
The annotation in the fifth photo has been corrected to identify the carrier section in the field as a "rocket remnant."
5/11/23: Este informe fue corregido luego de que una testigo le dijo a Human Rights Watch que había identificado incorrectamente a una de las personas que se ven en algunas imágenes de las protestas en Juliaca.
El comunicado fue corregido para quitar información errónea sobre el programa Uniting for Ukraine.
Este informe de la prensa ha sido cambiado para incluir la respuesta del Instituto Nacional de Migracion el 31 de mayo 2022.

04/11/2021: Esta versión del comunicado de prensa ha sido actualizada con el número correcto de situaciones que se encuentran bajo investigación de la Corte Penal Internacional.
Este comunicado fue corregido para reflejar que fue la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores de México que respondió al fallo de la Suprema Corte de Estados Unidos. También incluye varios otros cambios de estilo.
Según el idioma preferido en documentos oficiales, se cambió la siguiente frase de “Conforme a estas disposiciones, sólo se autorizaba la salida de la ciudad por motivos laborales específicos, para ayudar a personas que requerían tratamiento médico o asistencia especial o por “extrema necesidad”’ a “...para ayudar a personas que requerían tratamiento médico o asistencia especial o por “fuerza mayor.”’
