Bangladesh: Shipping Firms Profit from Labor Abuse

Many European shipping companies are knowingly sending their end-of-life ships for scrap in dangerous and polluting yards in Bangladesh. A new report finds that Bangladeshi shipbreaking yards often take shortcuts on safety measures, dump toxic waste, and deny workers living wages.
