Support Human Rights Watch
Human Rights Watch is an independent, nongovernmental organization, supported by contributions from private individuals and foundations worldwide. To ensure our independence, we do not accept government funds, directly or indirectly. Donations made in The Netherlands benefit our work worldwide. You can donate in The Netherlands through Stichting Human Rights Watch Nederland. All conventional donation methods are possible and your gift to Human Rights Watch could be fiscally deductible. For instance, you could choose a recurring donation, a single donation, or you could include Human Rights Watch in your will.
By including a bequest to Human Rights Watch in your will, you can bring hope and change beyond your own lifetime by helping to shape a future where human rights are upheld. Human Rights Watch is a registered charity in the Netherlands, meaning that no inheritance tax will be deducted from your gift: your entire gift will directly support our mission to protect and promote human rights worldwide. You can contact us at netherlands@hrw.org to request a personal conversation about how you can support Human Rights Watch through your will.
Stichting Human Rights Watch has an ANBI status and is also published on the website of Kennisbank Filantropie.

Due to a change in our financial year, it now runs from October 1st to September 30th. As a result, the publication requirement for our past financial year 2024/2025 has been postponed to March 31, 2026. The Dutch Tax and Customs Administration (de Belastingdienst) has approved this change.
