4个月内处决12人已使法治倒退

(纽约)-人权观察今天说,台湾政府应基于废除死刑的目标,立即恢复暂停处决的政策。4月19日,台湾政府处决了六名谋杀罪犯:陈东荣、陈瑞钦、林金德、张胞辉、李嘉轩和纪俊毅。这六人的死刑均以枪决执行。

台湾曾自2005年12月至2010年4月维持事实上的暂停执行死刑政策。此后,马英九总统的政府陆续处决了21名死囚,包括2012年12月21日的六人。
