    Guinean security forces massacred and raped scores of opposition supporters and demonstrators at a rally in Conakry on September 28, 2009. Human Rights Watch has found that these attacks may amount to crimes against humanity. The attacks were planned in advance and the military government’s security forces engaged in an organized cover up. They removed bodies from the stadium and hospitals to bury them in mass graves.
