Partisan War in Chechnya on Eve of WWII Commemoration

This report — the fourth in a series — documents Russian forces' flagrant human rights violations against the civilian population in the ongoing conflict with Chechen rebels. These violations include indiscriminate fire, direct attacks on civilians, attacks on displaced persons in transit, looting, abuses during disarmament, and the probable massacre of 100-200 civilians between April 6-8, 1995, in the village of Samaskhi.
