Children are twice as likely to make it to their 5th birthday and much more likely to attend school than they were 25 years ago, when the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child. However, more should be done to protect children, and ensure all children have access to education, health care, and protection.
Should children with disabilities be kept in cages? In Greece, the answer appears to be ‘yes.’

Many of the young men and teenagers, who were suspected gang members, were beaten by police in front of crowds before being killed. The government should investigate and suspend the individuals involved.
