October 2000 - Habré indictment in Senegal had an immediate
impact back in Chad. Chadian plaintiffs with their lawyers
and supporters at the N'Djaména courthouse after filing criminal
complaints for torture, murder, and "disappearance" against
Habré's henchmen still in positions of power in Chad.

Octobre 2000 - L'inculpation de Habré au Sénégal a eut un impact
immédiat au Tchad, ouvrant de nouvelles voies à la justice. Les
plaignants tchadiens, leurs soutiens et leurs avocats devant le tribunal
de N'Djaména, après avoir porté plainte pour torture, meurtres et
"disparitions" contre d'anciens hauts fonctionnaires du régime
d'Hissène Habré, identifiés individuellement par chaque victime.
