Agnes Odhiambo, researcher in the Women’s Rights Division at Human Rights Watch, wrote this report based on research that she conducted with Siphokazi Mthathi, director of the South Africa office, in Johannesburg and Eastern Cape Province between August 2010 and April 2011.
