Somalia: Child Soldiers

Somalia's warring parties have all failed to protect Somali children from the fighting or serving in their forces. The Islamist insurgent group al-Shabaab has increasingly targeted children for recruitment, forced marriage, and rape, and attacked teachers and schools.
